Ashley co-heads the Asia business at ICR, leading a New York and Beijing-based team and servicing over thirty Asia-based clients, all of whom have financial communications needs in the U.S. Since joining ICR in 2003, she has created capital markets communications strategies for many high-profile domestic and international issuers, and has built best-practices IR strategies for IPO's, spin offs, M&A transactions, crisis situations and institutional marketing efforts throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Her domestic U.S. IR experience includes work in general consumer, financial technology, consumer payments and media sectors, among others. Her Asia-based IR experience includes a focus on healthcare, consumer and media sectors, among others. All of her IR work is rooted in her former career as an equity research analyst covering the marketing services and advertising sectors at ABN Amro and CIBC World Markets, now Oppenheimer. Since launching the Asia business for the firm in 2006, Ashley has counseled more than thirty Asia-based companies while emphasizing consistent communications, transparency, and high corporate governance standards, especially during the traditional IPO process, fundraising efforts and post-listing in the U.S. Her efforts furthering the IR profession in China have been featured in Asia-based publications, including CFO World magazine, as well as through hosting numerous educational events to better educate issuers, including creating ICR's U.S. IPO Bootcamp as well as its "IR 101" In-House Training Program for in-house practitioners.
Ashley graduated magna cum laude from the University Professors Program of Boston University and holds a certificate in politics and economics from the General Course program at the London School of Economics. She held series 63 and 7 licenses (now expired) while an equity research analyst.
