John joined ICR in 2008 and focuses on the consumer hardline and education sectors. Prior to joining ICR, John spent 13 years ON Wall Street as a research analyst covering consumer companies in the apparel, footwear, specialty retail, department store, hardline, discount stores, consumer electronics, automotive parts and automotive retail sectors. During his tenure, he has covered more than 50 consumer companies and worked on a number of IPOs and equity offerings, including Skullcandy, Archipelago Learning, Under Armour, Volcom, Heelys, Perry Ellis, 99 Cents Only Stores, Stage Stores and Lithia Motors. John was also an associate apparel buyer with a Chicago-based specialty store chain, Mark Shale. John has been recognized and quoted in numerous publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Investor Business Daily, Business Week, Barons, DNR, Women's Wear Daily, Transworld Sports, Bloomberg News, and CNBC.
