Raphael is a Managing Director at ICR, specializing in the design and implementation of IR programs for consumer-branded companies. In addition to pre-IPO due diligence, he has considerable experience handling communications issues related to financial guidance, leadership transition, merger and acquisitions, spinoffs, proxy contests, and strategic alternatives. Raphael has also conducted numerous IR perception studies for presentation to senior management and boards of directors, and is actively involved in producing the annual ICR XChange conference. Prior to joining ICR in 2003, Raphael was in the equity research department at Gerard Klauer Mattison (now BMO Capital Markets) covering the restaurant industry. He also worked at IBM Global Services in corporate finance, and began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in managing consulting. Raphael graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Yeshiva University and holds a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, with a double concentration in International Finance & Banking and Middle Eastern Studies. He holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
