Seth Potter has twenty years of combined sell side and debt finance experience in the investment industry and is part of ICR's Technology Group focusing on telecom and technology. Prior to joining ICR, he was a Managing Director sell side equity analyst following telecom and technology companies at firms such as Merriman Curhan Ford and Punk Ziegel. Seth was one of the first analysts to identify and establish coverage of the wireless tower and machine-to-machine (M2M) industries and has also covered wireless construction and engineering, wireless carriers, telecom infrastructure, wireless handset distribution, wireless applications, wireless content and enabling technology and internet security companies. While at his last two firms, Seth was consistently ranked #2 or higher by Starmine for earnings estimate accuracy and during 1998 received honorable mention for his Wireless Services coverage from Institutional Investor All American Research. During his tenure as an equity analyst, he was a director of research for a member NYSE firm where he successfully covered the telecom sector and built an institutional business managing a number of analysts covering a variety of industries. He also originated and consulted on numerous investment banking transactions. Seth was also co-founder and CFO of 3G Solutions, a national rooftop antenna site management company and a credit analyst at The Chase Manhattan Bank covering a variety of industries. He received his BS in economics from Brandeis University.
