William Zima Managing Director

Bill has been with ICR since 2003 and co-founded the company's Asia operations in 2006. Since the launch of the Asia practice, Bill has served as Managing Director advising over thirty listed small and large cap Asian companies in the areas of capital market communications, institutional outreach, corporate governance and crisis management. During this time, he has worked on a range of transactions including IPO's, mergers and acquisitions and privatizations. His IR experience in Asia includes working with companies in the general consumer, clean tech, industrials, energy, TMT and real estate sectors. Bill has also led a number of strategic initiatives for ICR Asia including IR service expansion to Hong Kong-listed companies and the organization of ICR's Asia Xchange conferences. During his first four years of employment with ICR (2003-2006), Bill provided investor relations guidance to over fifteen U.S-based companies contributing to the development of ICR's retail, apparel, footwear and accessories practice.

Prior to ICR, Bill worked for Thomson Financial's Global IR Consulting practice and Nasdaq OMX Group. At Thomson, he implemented customized investor relations programs to increase client visibility within the financial community and developed corporate disclosure, crisis and valuation strategies for a variety of U.S. and non-U.S. public companies. At Nasdaq, Bill worked in the International group, assisting non-U.S. listings with their global liquidity and investor visibility initiatives. He also worked on various projects related to global stock market alliances and partnership programs. Bill received a B.A. from Boston College.
