With over 15 years of experience at leading communications agencies, Alecia has extensive knowledge of all aspects of strategic financial and corporate communications, with expertise in media relations strategy and execution. Combining her knowledge of the media with traditional corporate communications, she provides strategic counsel and guidance to clients on a range of relevant issues, in the context of the broader industry and capital markets.
Alecia has expertise in developing and implementing successful corporate communications and media relations programs, as well as thought leadership, brand launch and corporate branding and positioning campaigns for both public and private lifestyle brands, including lululemon athletica, El Pollo Loco, Luvo, Michael Kors, Tumi, bebe and Tractor Supply, among others. In addition, she has significant first-hand experience managing crisis communications situations such as retail store tragedies, product recalls, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and CEO successions.
Prior to her nine years with ICR, Alecia held senior media relations positions with FTI Consulting (formerly Financial Dynamics) and Thomson Financial Consulting Group (merged into Huntsworth Group). She started her career at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
