David Clair, CFASenior Vice President
With over 11 years of sell-side equity research experience, David has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the IPO process, investor relations best practices and generating effective strategic communications strategies. David leverages his extensive sell-side background and medical technology sector knowledge to create effective, company specific investor relations strategies with the goal of educating current and potential investors and maximizing valuation.
Throughout his career, David has analyzed companies from the perspective of corporate communications consultant and sell-side analyst, with these varied perspectives introducing a unique dimension to his counsel. David currently focuses on investor relations, IPOs and secondary offerings, crises communications, M&A and executive transitions.
Previously, David was an Assistant Vice President on Piper Jaffray’s medical technology equity research team. During David’s 9 year tenure at Piper Jaffray, the team successfully brought several companies through the IPO process, including Masimo, Fluidigm and Oxford Immunotec. David earned his B.A in Accounting from Michigan State University, a M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota and is a CFA charter holder.
