Garrett brings nearly 20 years of capital markets expertise to bear on behalf of clients in the consumer and specialty finance, fintech, insuretech, insurance, BDC and business services sectors. He joined ICR in 2007 and is key in helping clients position themselves to attain and maintain premium valuations.

Garrett has substantial experience in all aspects of investor relations – thoroughly involved in building the IR functions for public companies, IPOs, SPACs, secondary offerings, shareholder activism and proxy fights, M&A and executive transitions. He brings a financial analyst’s eye and acumen to his counsel coming from the sell-side, which enables clients to be proactive in their strategic communications rather than being reactive to the Street.

Prior to joining ICR, Garrett was an equity research associate at Deutsche Bank Securities covering large-cap media and an equity analyst at Monarch Securities, covering leisure products. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School and his BA in economics and international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
