With more than ten years of corporate communications experience, Mary specializes in planning and executing strategic PR campaigns on behalf of public and privately-held companies in the restaurant, consumer and technology sectors. Since joining ICR in 2013, Mary has worked on seven IPOs, counseled companies through special situations including M&As, and supported clients around effective crisis planning and response.
Mary leverages her long-standing relationships with reporters and producers to successfully articulate company stories in national and business news outlets including CNBC, Fox Business News, Bloomberg TV and The Wall Street Journal. In addition to her experience navigating clients through the pre and post-IPO process, she drives the day-to-day business objectives for a number of privately-held companies including messaging development, crisis planning/response, executive visibility and thought leadership campaigns.
Prior to ICR, Mary was at MSLGROUP in New York where she helped lead technology accounts including National Grid, United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney and AVG Technologies. She began her career at Weber Shandwick in Sydney, Australia working on consumer and lifestyle brands. Mary holds a M.A. in Communication studies from Johns Hopkins University and graduated cum laude with a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
